Employees of Rome’s public transport company ATAC are scheduled to engage in a 24-hour strike, effective from 08.30 to 17.00 and from 20.00 until end of service, on Tuesday 25 June. The strike affects Rome’s buses, trams, metro and light rail services Roma-Lido, Termini-Centocelle and Roma-Civitacastellana-Viterbo. Significant congestion is expected during periods of service from 05:30 to 08:30 and from 17:00 to 20:00 along with increased demand for taxi and increased traffic congestion.
